Lambertville NJ’s Dolores Dragan: Lady of Extraordinary Halloween Art

After 30 years of creating public art that has helped to make Lambertville, NJ, nationally famous as a Halloween destination, Dolores Dragan has retired. This 2025 exhibit in front of her house consists of only five of her figures. The rest of the collection has been distributed to be displayed in stores, restaurants and other commercial sites around the town. (Photo: Hoag Levins)
Posted at Dragan’s house is a notice that her works have been turned over to the newly created Lambertville Creative Arts Fund, which is placing them around town in a program called Memory Maker’s Trail of Magic. A QR code takes you to the online map of all the locations where the art works can now be seen during the Halloween season. (Photo: Hoag Levins)
